It is our pleasure to announce the recipient of the February 2012 Hondros College Instructor of the month as Robert Neal. Bob Neal who is a Broker with Comey and Shepherd Realtors based in Cincinnati, Ohio has been a real estate instructor at Hondros since 1992. He has enjoyed an impressive real estate career working in 11 different states across the country when working with Coldwell Banker. When he decided to stay based out of Cincinnati he opened a Re/Max office and grew to over 7 offices and 440 agents becoming #1 in size and production at the time. In 2010, he became a Broker with Comey and Shepherd and enjoys helping agents supersize their career!

His vast experience and knowledge makes him a true asset to the students of Hondros College. When asked, Bob said that one of his great joys of teaching has been to see students who were uncomfortable with math grasp the concepts and become very successful in their career. He shared that one of the best rewards has been the long term relationships he has built with the students through mentoring them to reach their goals.

When he is not in the office or the classroom, Bob enjoys spending time with his four children. He has three boys and a girl. Bob enjoys traveling with two of his sons to root them on in their travel baseball and hockey teams. He also enjoys photography as a hobby and when asked what he photographs he said “sports of course!”

Hondros College considers Bob Neal such an important asset. He was recently nominated and awarded the 2011 Hondros College School of Business Faculty Instructor of the Year Award. This distinguished award was presented to Bob Neal for many reasons but most impressively due to the fact that he averaged a 4.96 out of 5 when rated by over 300 of his students. Congratulations Bob! We are so proud you are a faculty member of Hondros College!

  1. Wow, congrats Bob! I am impressed with anyone who successfully teach math! Especially considering I had to take college algebra three times….
